15.4 miles including 11 miles at marathon pace.
Kevin, what are you training for?
Rest day.
10 miles. Easy pace. Still cold but nice sunshine today.
12 miles. Nice blue skies forever day.
AM: weights and 3 mile tempo; early afternoon-rowing
cold, wet, windy. ugh
pathetic 1/4 mile. rested. slightly less pathetic 1/4 mile.
shoulders hurt, almost like a pinched nerve
but probably just not used to the arm swing yet
tummy trouble, 4th day in a row, less than before
no energy, just tired.
ugh.
10 miles here, too.

Hi Ellen, I am actually training for the Brooklyn Half Marathon in May, but most of the people in my group are training for various marathons, hence the marathon-pace run. I also applied to Chicago Marathon in October and am still waiting to hear if I get in!
22K sluggish. Early rise to get to work and took a nap before I headed out for the evening run. Always feel a little tight for a while post nap.
5.5 then walked on the beach and ocean for about a mile.
Hit the track for another 2 miles.
Much better.
Ate some rice and corn, loafed for 5 hours.
It was 10 degrees warmer and much calmer.
9:15 and 9:15, best mile and two mile of the year,
tho I started 15 days ago.
Thought about going for 5k,
but still feel run down from the fever.
A blue moon update.
Last fall I did some runs on the road up Waterton Canyon and back (13 miles), averaging 8:00-8:05. Yesterday 7:45, so getting must be used to the altitude.
61 miles last week, HM in 2 weeks.
