Gym stuff and 4 miles. They say the humidity might break on Wednesday...
My friend P convinced me to join his running crew this morning for an "easy run." I sometimes see them in the mornings.
I agreed.

As soon as the rest of them began to arrive at the meeting spot, I started getting nervous. You know how certain people just look fast? Yeah.
I told them I might not be able to keep up and was assured that it was going to be an "easy pace."
"What's an easy pace?"
"Oh, like 7:45s or so."

Yeah, I got dropped after less than a mile. P stuck with me and told me, "two of those women have run sub-3 marathons." :o :o :o
I finally said I needed to turn back for home - and promptly got lost (new area for me). I intended to run 5-6 miles today, but it ended up being 8 because I went the wrong way.
I'm tired.
I have a heel spur that's become increasingly no good. No run today. Seeing podiatrist tomorrow.

11 mostly good miles. Wanted to go a couple or so longer but the weather caught up with me.
3 miles at a painful but decent pace.
Rest day. My foot thanks me.
8 miles easy
2 mile walk. Does that count?
