Easy three and a bit of rowing.
6 x 150m down at the tarck. Excellent workout.
Then, Mass Velocity Penn Relays captain reached out to me to see if I could run on one of the 50+ 4 X 100 meter relay teams at the Penn Relays next Friday (filling in for an injured comrade).
I am not in peak sprinting shape, with only two track workouts in this spring, but it is an honor to be chosen to run at this prestigious track meet, so I will do my best to help my teammates next Friday.

2 mile time trial on the track.
Wednesday and Thursday I tried to hold 2 minutes per lap.
Didn't go well, tried several times but shut it down after 2 laps.
Did make the time but the hammies hurt and my throat closed up from the damp air.
Today was warmer and calmer, and with a day off I felt better.
Thought about a 5k but cut it short at 2 miles.
Right around 2 flat for 6 laps, then brought it home
for a 15:50. A season best by just over a minute,
and it wasn't as hard as I thought it might be.
Getting better but still too fat.

5 miles. Felt sluggish due to allergy medication that I took.
