I heard someone else in the same boat. It filled up overnight.
Thanks for chiming in on the other thread MOS! The loudest naysayers didn't contribute squat today. If there were a hand or arm gesture emoji I'd put it up.
sad very disappointed

Of course. I paged you hours ago.
They could run the Half by the Sea on 9/24 instead, like me.

If you want, I was trying to reach an audience of perhaps not necessarily someone who even runs, but might know someone who runs or know someone who knows someone

at the risk of being annoying - there are people who run here?

"We're sorry, but there are no refunds, transfers or deferrals."
ETA: She might be better off [only slightly so, of course] making a fake bib, or simply banditing

By the power of face book she got a bib! She is going to take the chip out which is what she usually does if she takes someone elses bib.. she's only done this once.. but since she has a bib that someone paid for it's totally legit, imo to use course support
Not really legit since the race said no transfers [I'm guessing that means of ANY kind], but whatever

What difference does taking the chip out make?
The seller won't appear in the Smutynose results, and therefore the race's AG placing
Also, if MoS's daughter runs faster or slower than the seller's usual pace, it won't fuck up the results in Athlinks, either
Remember, the Athlinks aberration is what got Mike Rossi busted [way too fast, compared to his usual results]

Well, right. I guess I assumed they still track runners w/their bib # too. Guess I'm out dated and naïve.

Oh yeah, good point. MoS's daughter will most likely get her picture taken on course, wearing the sellers bib
So if someone were to scan the pix from the race for bib #XXXXX, she'll come up, instead of the seller

meh.. I ran the love run last year with someone elses bib.. i took the chip out and it was so freeing!
Quote from: Mom of Scooby on September 15, 2017, 03:53:40 PM
meh.
I guess that's it, then
And since she already got it, nothing more to say other than "Have fun & good luck"
So how did it go MoS? The girls weren't too hungover to run, were they?
I can imagine them all running together as a [semi?] drunken ponytail party
