Try adding a little salt. And/or a bunch of garlic.

1. and perhaps try adding some fresh dill.
and za'atar is nice, too.
You know that collection of spices that goes on "Everything" bagels? Someone said that was good sprinkled on plain yogurt. I haven't tried it yet.
TJ's Everything But the Bagel is good on everything...and the bagel
that bagel seed colection is a great idea. and I have it in the house, too.
We use yogurt mixed with tandori spices as a marinade for chicken and veggies before baking or grilling.

Yep. Add enough to make the tzatziki sharp.
For North Indian raita, in addition to cucumber and mint, add roasted cumin and a finely chopped, deseeded green chili pepper.
I sometimes grind a whole lot of cumin into yogurt. Or sliced super hot peppers w/ cilantro. Or cucumber, walnuts, and garlic.
lots of dill, garlic, onion powder, salt and pepper with some finely diced cucumber for one tzatziki version. The other version I love from a greek restaurant I used to work at is 2 parts sour cream to one part yogurt. Add in salt, onion powder, pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Not only excellent on gyros but makes a good salad dressing and veggie dip.
We just had a great green dip last night. She said she uses a bunch of cilantro, garlic cloves--she said 8, but recipes online said 4, yogurt and mayonnaise. Put in food processor and blend till smooth. You wouldn't eat it by itself but a great sauce or dip.
