7.2 on trails in the AM to beat some expected afternoon rain.
3.3 miles. Sunny and very hot, 70°.
13.5K. Had to circle back home to use the washroom at 8.75K. First time since Covid-19 restrictions went in effect that I needed to use a washroom mid run. Can't use restaurant washrooms, since they are all shut down, and construction site washrooms are generally a no go, since workers are on site, or for sanitary reasons.
7.1M. Had some errands to run in the truck so reversed my regular route (started and ended at my usual turnaround point).
Seemed easier despite the same elevation gain loss. Odd. I would have though the lack of training familiarity would make it tougher.
Maybe it was the novelyty?
I ran 5 from home. Tempo run, had a good pace going on despite it being 20 degrees warmer than most of the other runs of late. Here comes the warmer weather training to make us bulletproof.
