Old man interval workout. 15 minute warmup, 15 minutes of 30sec/2minute intervals at mile pace, then 15 minute cooldown. Dry and 45° today. Lots of flooding up here and still they say worse to come.
Nice workout glwescott! Stay dry, been reading about the flooding and it seems the worst in 10 years.
AM - 5 mile run with short threshold session reps of 2:30 to 3:40 totaling 14 minutes. 15 degrees total snow and ice cover on the bike path.
PM 12 km xc ski with 20 minutes worth threshold reps (4 to 6 minutes).
4 miles and strides on the treadmill. Roads weren't too bad until about an hour before I could get out there so I made the call to stay inside.
Cold evening, so only planned on 5-7K. Slipped on some ice making a turn, just over 2K in, and wrenching my right hip joint a bit. Had to walk for about 5 minutes, till I could break into a slow jog 1K back home.
Hoping it's nothing long term.
Fingers crossed FE. Hate running on frozen shit.
