I can't run anymore, and I didn't volunteer (most of my weather-appropriate gear is too small anymore) this year, but cool story re my local marathon. (He is not from here; he's from a neighboring state). Weather was right around freezing with 15mph winds. It sucked. I have friends who volunteered and the runners couldn't open their own gu at the aid stations (neither could the volunteers, so scissors) because their hands were too cold.
Nice that the finish was indoors on a yucky day.
I heard it was cold there, good run for him!
