8.1 miles (1:10) easy on a mostly snow-covered bike path. It was clear on the sunny spots, about an inch of snow in the shade. 30F sunny. A pleasant run.
Forecast was for a rainy day, so I initially planned to take the day off from running. But, as I walked to the bus station, the rain took a break, so I decided to run 2K to the subway station. Same thing in the afternoon, enough of a break that I could run 7K home as well after work. Made the mistake of wearing my heavier waterproof trail hikers, so there was noticeably less bounce in those shoes, as compared to my Brooks Cascadia trail shoes that I normally wear in foul weather for running.
7.7 miles. Our false spring is over and March is back but luckily it wasn't too bad at about 37°F, overcast, and a bit of wind.
