Did a short warm up and a 5K race in chilly(49°F) rain. The rain was appropriate for a race called the Waverly Waddle.
I made it two years in a row with first overall in 17:44 though my watch had the course at a bit over 5K. I got a little bogged down on one the hills, almost like I was hitting a wall, but recovered well for the last mile.

14.5 at 8:10/mile, last 12.5 were sub 8 on average. Felt good, which is rare for a longer run.
4 mile fartlek run today.
