Today was another scorcher, 92°F and sunny, but there was a bit of a breeze and I chose a stretch of nice shady rail trail next to the river so it didn't feel quite so bad as yesterday's run on black top.
2 mile warm up, 8x800 meters starting at 5:56 mile pace working down to 5:24, and 2 mile cool down. Definitely feel like the gears are starting to click, I can't wait to build my aerobic base in preparation for a fall half marathon.
Had semi-planned on a long run with progression but was too tired from Sunday and from travel, so broke it up into 5.5 and 4.5 miles easy.
