4 mile shakeout and some strides. It was pretty decent out, just warm enough for the humidity to feel sticky rather than cold.
5 mile race tomorrow featuring an Olympic trials qualifier in the half and full marathon, a college guy that ran 29 and change for a 10K on the track this spring, and another college guy who ran a 15:45 5K on the track this spring. I'm betting all 3 go out under 5 in the first mile. I'm not going to be drawn in to that and I'm hoping to reel in the 5K guy in the last two miles.
Good luck tomorrow Kawasa! Are you aiming for 15:30s or 40s?
4.2 mile shakeout here with a few strides. They flipped the weather switch today. I has been cold, with tights and gloves weather practically all month. Now a spell in the 80s, but shouldn't be too bad tomorrow morning for the 5K. Mid-60s. The race is the state 5K championship and from what I hear it's fast and furious.

Thanks! It's a 5 mile race. I'm shooting for somewhere around(or preferably under) 26:45 but I've never raced that distance so I hope I'm not getting out too far over my skis.
What organization runs the state championship? I don't think we have anything like that in Pennsylvania. The weather for us tomorrow is supposed to be raining and in the mid 50sF, which I'm hoping is a bit of an equalizer.
