Happy 250th to my Amerikun cuzins.
Worked a 5K this morning, with rain showers moving through. Thank god no thunder and lightning, but the Kids 1K was cancelled just to be safe.
After watching the Canada-Morocco game, went out for a 12K run. By then the showers have moved on.
Ran my July 4 3 miler. I won a hard fought race, running anywhere from 1st to 4th till 2.6 miles when I put in my final pass and ended up with a 15:33. Course pr for me. I did a mile warm up and 3 mile cool down to make it 7 for the day.
Temps felt good in the shaded start but quickly felt nasty in the sun. It was 80°F with 81% humidity.
