Title: Monday August 17
Post by: i am party on August 17, 2026, 12:08:40 PM
I'm on a mission to get back into "running shape", which will probably look like about 20 miles a week, with the ability to bang out a 10 miler on occasion.

2 miles today

Welcome back i am a party.

Got my monthly half marathon + training run today. Sunny, seasonal weather with a couple of extra temp ticks with some humidity. 22K in total.

Running came to a screeching halt over the weekend when I came down with a stomach virus on Friday evening. Monday I did an easy double of 31 and 35 minutes. Feeling a bit wobbly still but not bad, considering.

My running took a screeching halt Sunday morning when I stubbed my toe and broke it. Doctor says two to three weeks. Still planning on doing my 8 miles for my 80th birthday in late September though.

Ouch! Broken toes can hurt. But they also heal fast, usually.
