Title: Sunday September 13
Post by: Loco Coyote on September 13, 2026, 05:35:46 PM
Half marathon on the roads this morning. Fortunately, we had a nice cooling from the week and it was in the 55-60 degree range. 1:25, 90% age grade.

I've been kind of hurting with my running lately so I haven't been posting. Today was the half marathon I've been working towards all summer, the Harrisburg half marathon. My calf has just been messed up but I could still get it done so I KT taped it up, threw on a calf sleeve, and some capsaicin balm.

I got 3rd overall in 1:14:55 and won my age group. My goal finish before my calf strain was 1:12 but I'm still really happy with the result seeing as by 11.5 miles I was grunting from the pain haha Definitely did not catch the marathon bug but would like to take another swing at a half marathon at full strength.

Congrats Coyote and kawasa.

I suffered through a slow 18K. Piriformis Syndrome is not letting up. And with the Toronto Waterfront Marathon five weeks away, it won't be pretty.
