Got up good and early for this one, I set out about 5:55AM 40 min or so before the sun came out. It was about 50°F and I wore a T-shirt.
12 total miles with the first 6 progressing from easy to 5:58 pace. 3:30 walking rest then 3x1 mile with 400 meter rest. Somewhere around 3/4 of the way through my 2nd repeat something felt like it dramatically snapped in my right hamstring. I walked a bit, massaged it, and realized that clearly nothing had snapped. It hurt but it wasn't crippling so I finished the rep, the 3rd rep, and the cool down. I'm going to take tomorrow off.
Hope that the hamstring is just a minor glitch and that it'll be fine after a day off.
8.8 miles easy-moderate on rolling trails. 50 degrees, my hands were cold. I'm pretty tired following Sunday's long run, and the previous month for that matter.
