Sounds tasty, though they aren't in season together... I'd still want a piece though! Why is Antag suspicious?
They are in season together here. Both were local. In fact the pears were from one of the labs at work. Part of their research plot is a pear orchard.
Antag claims to hate pears but he begged for seconds. ;)

We went for our honeymoon in Napa valley and noticed that all food was better than where we are. Bread, and produce, and wine, and olive oil and grrrrrr.

But it's still weird that strawberries and pears are in season at the same time. California or not.

Honestly I wouldn't have thought it was pear season until they showed up at work. It is the end of strawberry season (but my ones at home just started producing).
