I bought a can, because I had never seen or tasted this before. What do I do with it now?
Make posole?
Soup! I love hominy.
Yum. I love it. But I think the quality of canned hominy varies greatly with the brand. I have had awful hominy. :(
Throw it away. Hominy is one of the most disgusting foods on the planet. :D
Sorry :D
Posole is a pretty delicious Mexican stew.

Aw, don't be a hater. Just grits your teeth and try to live in hominy with others. :D
I do not even know what hominy is.

I was doing WW Core a while ago and made Posole w/ canned hominy. It smelled delicious and I couldn't wait.
I'm w/ Courtney. Disgusting.

Grits (corn).
Very, very similar to polenta although I believe polenta is ground finer than hominy grits. Ice Cream - in addition to posole, you can try using the hominy as you would for a polenta recipe.
But hominy isn't ground? Well at least canned hominy isn't. It is dried corn.
