Title: Sun dried tomato sub question

A soup recipe calls for them in oil, drained. I have some dried in a pouch. Should I soak them first or just sub them in?

soak then drain is what I would do

That is what I would do too.

But I thought this thread was going to be about sub sandwiches made with with nothing but sun dried tomatoes!
