Title: lemons
Post by: Magic Microbe on January 07, 2014, 05:28:12 PM
I have a whole tree full of ripe lemons. While I would like to use them all for cocktails I fear that would make me an alcoholic so give me some recipes. Light desert would be nice or something with meat. Hubby won't eat seafood but we do eat a lot of chicken.

Also, many shish kebab recipes contain a significant amount of lemon juice.

Morroccan preserved lemon is supposed to be delicious.  I looked at a recipe and then never made it, but it's still on my list of things to make.

I will eat fish, the husband won't. I am allergic to shellfish also.

make yourself ceviche.  it's so, so simple and so, so good for you.  and you won't have to share.  :)
since it's typically served with corn on the cob and potatoes AND the majority of the ceviche prep is done the day before it won't be a big deal to grill a different protein for him when you eat.
