Eco Ellen

17.4 miles at 5:45 am. I really did not want to run these miles. My legs are tired and my mind felt bleak. There is a lot of ice on the paths and it's still a struggle to navigate. I don't wear the screw shoes for long runs because I need the more recent pair for the support.   Miles 10-12 felt difficult and then magically the rest just felt normal.

I asked myself around mile 16 if I could run another ten miles and the answer was a tentative yes, but I wouldn't be happy about it.

So whatever that is worth. I am deliriously happy to be finished running for the weekend.

Nice on the toughing it out, Ellen. Hero!

4 easy miles.  OUTSIDE!  With sun!  My body is exhausted but it felt so good to be outside.

8 miles...

Y'all, I wish I'd started treating my suspected anemia months ago....my runs now are 1.5 minutes faster than they've been for the last 3-4 months....overall, per 8 mile run?  NO....PER MILE!!!

I'm back to where I was last fall...and that's a really good thing...come on race season!!

Good to hear, that's a serious improvement!

I had 3 fast miles, felt exhilarating.
