So there are all these people doing detailed analysis about the cutoff for Boston 2017

They are theorizing on what the actual cut off is going to be.. Apparently this year only 16% of the runners requalified at Boston since it was so hot.. Typical numbers are 30-50%.  Some are even saying cushions won't be needed but that if they are it might be less than a minute..

I have a 1:40 cushion.. I won't know obviously until october... I am thinking of a.. Trying to better my cushion wi an early sept marathon and b.. Booking a refundable hotel run In case I get in..

My daughter was one minute off and now she is thinking to try to qualify on 9/3 too
