21.1km in the humidity...
Won my age group on my home-trail half! Top ten overall. Small first year event but bested five others in my bracket by a 10+ minute margin. Also finished ahead of everyone older than me and no more than 10 years younger than me.
I can't remember the last time I raced a "perfect" race (and to nit pick I could have tweaked a couple small things) but I achieved all my goals including my stretch goals so this is about as close to perfect as it needs to be.
Ran without a water pack and just refilled my flask and cup at the aid stations.
