I made pizza from scratch for dinner

I made the dough and the sauce and used fresh mozzarella and basil.
it took hours and my kitchen looks like an Italian exploded in it.
The sauce recipe I got from here - needs some tweaking I think, but lots of promise.
Not untasty, but I'm not looking forward to cleaning up that mess.

That sauce recipe seems to have all the things people put in sauce except maybe thyme? 

Which could be the problem.  Way too much stuff.. I lean on the oregano and fennel and I like red pepper. 
People put a lot less effort into picking apart evidence that confirms what they already believe.

This one, from the same article is also really good. I love the crust! Although I left my mixer unattended and it walked off the counter!
