1692 miles for the year. I PR'd in the half marathon. No significant running injuries. I went through a bit of a running slump for part of the year but kept at it and have felt better since November. Overall it was a good running year.

Goals for 2017:
- stay injury free
- consistent stretching routine
- maintain racing weight (for me, low 150's)
- build speed and PR in the 10k (which I start training for in January)

2087.39 miles, ran 361 days. Most since 2002. Most time spent running ever. Most miles was in 1986 but I was much faster then.

Goals-run faster and run at least one race. Hopefully not with Active.

Fast Eddie

3,295 km or 2,034 miles over 277 runs.

Just three marathons this year instead of the four I was averaging the past three years. Getting slower, but still having fun.  Fighting some piriformis syndrome for the last half of the year.

Total miles are irrelevant for me; sprint training is about quality not quantity.

I won the National Championship in the 4 x 100M 55-59 age group at the National Masters T&F Championships in July.  Also qualified for the 2017 National Senior Games in the 100 meters, 200 meters and long jump.  I won a few races at various senior games - notably winning Gold at the Mass. Sr. Games in the 100 meters.

I did switch back to distance running in September and ran a bunch of distance races at the end of the year - including a half marathon in November.

Goals for 2017:  Stay fit and enjoy life.

My lowest mileage year since I started running - by far. First half of 2016, I was in a bad place emotionally and running made it worse. Second half of 2016, I was injured. Mileage was so low I didn't even bother tracking it.

No races for me.

Ran just over 2000 miles, most of that (almost 80%) in the first 7 months.

Ran an age grade equivalent to a 30:01 10K (89%) in July but a week later fell and tore my arm socket all up. Goal was 90%
I'll stick to running, thank you.

2,307 miles, injury-free after January, but took time off in February for a minor surgery on my leg.  Several races done with pretty good results.  Ready to line up for the Houston full in 11 days.

My goals are 2,500 miles, 50 yoga sessions, and to BQ on the 15th.
