Whoa. Vancouver Marathon cancels race and plans to issue "partial refunds"

OMG! I can't believe this. They are not going to offer the race people preregistered for and are now issuing partial refunds. WTF?!?

yes, cancelling the race and refusing to refund my $$ has totally restored your credibility.

Sucks.    You figure they could of cut cost and logistics a lot by having the half and full marathoners do the out and back first part of the full route.  Two laps for the full.  Better than a full cancellation.

Yes, it absolutely does.  Though there are so many newbies to the sport every day that I'm not sure how much others will feel it.

Vancouver's credibility is in jeopardy right off the bat as it's a suburb of Portland and happens to share the same name as a big glamourous
world class city 300 miles to the north.
