Weights plus watching the NYC Marathon

Today was supposed to be a 10 mile race capping off the year.
I decided not to drive 100 miles on ice to get to it.
Went to the track to do 10 miles.
It was below freezing and windy.
Decided that 5000 meters was a nice round number.
