Sunday June 10

[Arrojo]

Jogged a couple of miles down to the local 5K rail trail race.  Ran the race (with a negative split).  Hung out for a bit yakking with friends, then jogged over to the hardware store to buy a clamp and a couple of lottery tickets.   Jogged home, took off my race bib, used the bathroom, then went out and tacked on another 3 miles.  ~10 miles total. Have a nice day.

morning, 2 miles easy, quads sore from yesterday's race
evening, ditto.

The baby geese have hatched out.

From the morning run, four adults and a flock of goslings



There are three sets of parents with from 3 to 7 goslings.
And a single goose who is apparently a widow,
and a pair of ducks who have made a home in a puddle in center field.
