And then depression, a hamstring injury, a move across country, a new job involving a lot of travel and GI issues all contributed to an eventual decline and then I stopped.

Some issues (depression, business travel) have resolved themselves so I decided to start again.

Let's just say the GI issues are very much unresolved.  :o  I have been nervously checking Nextdoor for a posting about a woman crapping under a bush on their lawn.  :steaming:

Oh, and my hamstring started hurting again.

Hope you can pick it up again.

Keep at it. It will get better.

Being old,  :old: I keep a track where all the construction porta potties are on my run routes.

I'm a re-runner too Amy!  Still only going out 2 or 3x a week but it is fun to see it sloooowly come back.  Not that I was ever fast/good, but I would like to be a mid packer again someday.

The scientific consensus might, of course, be wrong. If the history of science teaches anything, it is humility. But our grandchildren will surely blame us if they find that we understood the reality of climate change and failed to do anything about it.

I've had that problem all my life until recently. Apparently a knee injury cured it.

I'm hoping for a less extreme cure.

Okay guys, the plan in the morning is to do a warm up run around the block, stop back at my house for a private and appropriate place for GI distress, and then head back out.
