Have you seen those zoku Popsicle makers? They make Popsicles in like 7 minutes with your own ingredients. I bought one to take to Saudi. At least we'll have some form of ice cream until I can figure out how fast I need to drive home from the store so my ice cream doesn't melt.

Take a cooler to the store with you! :)

That's what my mom does. They live 45 minutes from the grocery stored.

Liver is so healthy if you get it from a good source.  I'm not sure I'd want to buy liver from any old supermarket.  I went looking for it at Whole Foods once and they didn't have it.  :/

I googled a little about liver concerns. You don't really have to worry about antibiotics, because they end up in the fat stores of animals. A possible issue would be metals, since the liver filters those out of the blood and there might be a buildup, but is there a difference in the metal consumption of conventionally farmed cattle and ethically farmed cattle? I don't know.

My father used to fry liver and onions.  Nobody else in the family would eat them and the kitchen would stink for days.

My mom did this every Sunday.  I always tried to find another house to eat at.
