The 'squid' error message

I have gotten reports from members that they are receiving the following error message when attemtping to get into Yammering:

The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://chrunners.net/forum/index.php?

Zero Sized Reply

Squid did not receive any data for this request.

Your cache administrator is webmaster.

Here is what I have learned about the source of the error:

1) It is not coming from the forum.
2) Squid is a web proxy that would be running either on your work server or at your ISP.
3) It seems that if there is a delay in the response from a server that kind of message may crop up.
4) Yammering, being as voluminous as it is may take a bit longer to return results than most other sources.  That could account for the squidly response.

If you are getting this message at work, you are probably SOL   If at home, you might speak with your internet service provider about it.

Turned out to be a problem with YAMMERING.  The squid message was a red herring.

Whenever there is a red herring flopping around on the table, I always feed it to the squid.  Makes for shorter meetings
