the bakery across from my office has been doing a ham and cheese with pear chutney and arugula that I like. I would prefer a different bread, it's on what looks like an english muffin, but it's pretty tasty.

I had a really good reuben the other day, the corned beef was lean but flavorful.

I treated myself to a sandwich the other day!  I went to lunch with my brothers, which has not happened just the three of us in a long, long time.  I had a "club" - whole grain bread with chicken salad, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon.  Yum!

i had a delicious fried chicken sandwich on tuesday.  it was served on a bulky roll with butter lettuce, pickled cucumbers and onions, and herb mayo.

but i don't think it's my fave.  i am an equal opportunity sandwich lover.

I had a prime rib sandwich a few nights ago... :drooling-5:

I love most sandwiches, but my favorites are on sourdough. Not a big fan of the pretzel bun or any other big buns.

My daughter had the biggest lobster roll I've ever seen the other day. You know the way they are usually served on a hot dog bun (or the equivalent size)? This one was on a humongous hoagie roll. It took her two meals to eat the whole thing!

I'm pretty sure she was the only kid in third grade with lobster in her lunch on Monday...  :D

if I'm honest, canned salmon & regular potato chips in squishy bread... the comfort food of sandwiches... but my middle-aged low-sodium marching orders no longer allow such an indulgence

Same here.  Less bread is better and no bread is best.  Not willing to say less buns is better, though.  ;)

Grilled pimiento cheese with bacon. I have a good pimiento cheese recipe somewhere.  I add green chilies.  It's also just as good with roasted red peppers vs pimientos.
Ellen stole my joy and I want it back!

Sourdough 5 grain bread is glorious.

I'm currently eating a roast beef with crispy fried onions, tomato, lettuce and some sort of horse radish spread on a fresh baked focaccia. Its pretty good.

I'm going to make this sandwich at some point, I got some pimiento cheese at the deli(pre-made) but it was disappointing.

So I have to find(or make) some good pimiento cheese

Mmm, I just ate and now I'm hungry all over again.

I just had grilled cheese and bacon on sourdough bread, this loaf of sourdough is kind of chewy.

One of those French baguette ham and cheese sandwiches with just a bit of butter that you get in Paris.  Their bread is soooooo good!
