I have been finding that flavored seltzer really helps make the DFW chugging much more enjoyable and satisfying.

Polar has some crazy new flavors out.

I LOVE Polar flavored seltzer.

And glad you ladies are in.  I found that pizza is ok if I ate one or two slices and filled up on salad w/ no dressing otherwise.

Okay, so question for y'all. I'm going to need a bathing suit relatively soon. My current one is kinda big. Not huge, but it's loose in places (this is good), and there's always a threat that Reid will tug and pull the front down. Which would be not as big a deal in my parents' pool, but definitely embarrassing during swim class.

I've been looking at suits and I know a lot of you liked the Land's End suits. I like them, too. But... BUT.... y'all, I'm a 38G. Even if I lose 10 pounds between now and vacation, there is no guarantee that any of that will be my boobs. I don't even know where to start. Should I just get a suit in my normal shirt size? Nothing is out there in my bra size, except maybe old lady suits.

Bah. Stupid boobs.

Oh yeah, I'm back on austerity measures as well.  I've been doing so well for the past 3 weeks, and this weekend I was away with friends and ate and drank way too much.   It was a great time and there was a blueberry pie.  And hamburgers.  And a variety of beers and spirits.

It's amazing how 3 days of splurges can make you feel like you un-did 3 weeks of austerity.

Debba, not sure if this helps but although I lost like 8 pounds none of them came off of my boobs yet.   :grr:

Yes!  But in 3 days I think I'll be back to not minding the austerity.  :)

Yeah, that's why I'm struggling. I have no idea what to do - my boobs are likely to be one of the last places I lose weight, and finding a bathing suit in my bra size is close to impossible, or they're ridiculously ugly. So do I just get one in my normal t-shirt size?

Sign me up for Newfound Austerity as well!

I've been making terrible choices for the last 2 3 weeks, and it's starting to show. Couple that with my curent frowsy hair, and I'm not feeling too swell about myself.

I am embracing an AA mantra: one day at a time. I am going to make good choices today. I'm not worrying about tomorrow or next week, just today. My goal is to stay on plan all day. That's it. I will tackle tomorrow when it gets here.

Why is it this way?  Why?!?!?

I have lost a few pounds.  I know this because my pants are looser and I went another notch tighter on my belt.  I think I have already lost some off my boobs.  I don't wanna be a AA again!  I LIKE being a B!  On the other hand, a flat-ish stomach again would be really nice.

I do this. But meal to meal. Snack to snack.  :nono:

My boobs are usually the first place I lose weight.  DH was not happy about that aspect of my weight loss.

I've finished dinner and am still hungry.  Dfw  til bedtime.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

Good luck to ya'll!  I know I lack that will power during PMS so I'm gonna accept it for awhile and focus on exercise.    I had 2 huge bags of cotton candy yesterday and 3 chocolate covered doughnuts today.   :sigh:

I also lost all of my boob weight first so I'm jealous.  I'm currently wearing the entirely wrong size bra because I've changed so much I don't know what size I am...30C was my last measurement.  Not an easy size to find.

I'm hoping to get a run in late this evening because I have to sit through a wastewater treatment continuing ed class tomorrow.  Geez I am dreading it, but need it to maintain my certification.  At least it's free.  It's an all day thing so I won't have a chance to get much exercise in unless we're dismissed early.

Yeah, it's not fair.  I have too much boobage and would happily share.

Naturally, tonight being Eliza's birthday (she's FIVE!), we had to go to Friendly's.

There isn't a hell of a lot to eat at Friendly's if you are trying to make good choices! I did ok, I had a cup of soup and half a turkey supermelt sandwich, but I had to plan my whole day around that and still just barely stayed on plan.

Now I'm going to bed at 8pm. Woot.

I was in friendly's here in town the other day, first time in5 years. The place looked so depressing... I thought they were going out of business.

diablita

I haven't been in a Friendly's in forever.  They opened one in South Florida somewhere and a friend dragged me there.  Not my thing.  But you deserve HUGE kudos for making decent choices there, Bonita!

I had a bowl and half of broccoli soup with some light cheese thrown in.  (Will have my 100 calorie snack in a bit.)  This is the stuff:

Lots of Friendly's have closed.   But I've noticed that they keep the Friendly's shrubbery well-maintained along the Mass Pike westbound in Wilbraham.

Bonita -- the important thing is that the DQ in Ghent is still thriving.  Whew.

Great.  Now I'm thinking about Cone Head Sundaes...
