I personally don't like lemon in my water, either.

must.hop.on.treadmill.

i have been really nauseated lately, this has been a few weeks, no i am not pregnant, i better not be pregnant, but it has been going on for a little while, so that can be ruled out. But i must not use it as an excuse to eat toast and not exercise :D

I need to get back to working out. I've slacked since getting back from vacation. :-[

I love lemon and water! Do limes do the same thing? I have a box of them here at the shop for limeades.

I ran two days ago and I'm still sore! gah. It had been a few weeks since I really got out there. I've only been walking. It felt really good.. except I felt like I was hacking up a lung afterward.

i ran/walked today. atleast i have the new season of Masterchef to look forward to on the TM :D

I wonder why that lemon in the water trick seems to work?  I've heard lots of people swear by it for reducing bloating.

It's like a regular salad. Except BIGGER. It comes in a big bowl, and has lots of stuff in it!

ok, I have had a bad couple of days on the food front, and just polished off a hazelnut croissant for breakfast. Now, back to Austerity!

(I'm hoping posting it here will make me actually do it!). :)

merigayle

no nausea this morning but still had to have a piece of toast.  :sigh:

I also had toast, but I liked it.  :)

oh i love toast, but i love it too much. if i was on a deserted island and could only have three foods, toast would be one.

Yeah, bread and bready things are my biggest challenge so far on WW. I love bread of all kinds. So I am finding smaller portion-controlled ways to enjoy it. So far, the toughest part if when I go out to eat and they plop that bread basket on the table. On Wednesday I resisted warm rolls at a Mom & Pop Italian restaurant. It wasn't easy! Then I did have pasta, but with plain marinara and broccoli, instead of something meaty or cheesy.

Do any of you guys have specific strategies you use when you go out to eat? Things you  have to work hard to avoid overdoing?

we rarely ever go out to eat so i almost without a doubt over do it  :'(

cgraz, I usually try to go for something like a spinach salad with grilled chicken and not too much cheese. OR, I plan for it all week and splurge like the next day is the apocalypse and to hell with it all.
