Potential dance card:
Dutchess County Half: LaGrangeville, NY (Sept 18)
Hambletonian Half Marathon & Good Time Trotters Relay: Goshen, NY (Oct 2)
Falling Leaves Half: Queens, NY (Nov 12)
I'd really like to do a full, but just not ready this year.
I am transitioning back to distance running after masters sprinting for the past year and a half.
5K this Monday.
10K later in September.
9.5 mile Groton Trail Race in October.
Newburyport Half Marathon in November.
October 15K and November HM.
My coworker talked me into a November half marathon. I haven't run more than 8 miles in months. Better start training.
I'm running a 5K at the end of the month and starting toward the end of October, I have some 5Ks that run almost to Christmas that are free to runners over 70.
I'm signed up for a 12k trail run September 10 but having a messed up back all summer messed up that plan. i think I'll replace it with a ten k road run September 25, but won't sign up until race day.
I'm registered for another trail race in October that I'll try to be ready for.

If anything, my fall "race" will be the Hartford Half, if my nagging hammy issue allows it.

I was thinking about running that but I've done the full twice and it's the week before a more local half.

Probably the 12 hour race at the NJ Trail Series 1 day race in November. That's it I think.

For sure! I'm hoping to get down there on Thursday and stay until after the race. Haven't booked the room yet though.
so this thread inspired me to go look for short races to encourage me to do speed work. I have one in 2 weeks from now, and another one in a month.
I'm doing a 10k Sept 18... the route goes right past my house.
Army 10 Miler in October. And probably a 5K on Thanksgiving.

Oh man, when is the 10 miler? I have two friends doing this and should really go down there to support them.
did one of my two goal races last week, and definitely was faster than I expected. So, one more week to my next goal race.
