I miss Carson!  He's a great guy.  I met him at the Baystate Marathon 2 years ago.

Carson wasn't particularly fond of my idea that a phone running the Endomondo app trumped any Garmin device.  I'm sure that's why he bailed.

I haven't had any interest in Yammering for years and my participation in Running has waned as well.

Thanks for all your efforts. Having run several on-line communities in the past, I fully understand how much effort goes into it and how excruciating a process it is when making the decision about whether to continue or not.

Carson is one of my good friends IRL, just FYI.

He is super busy with his new job and is also a mod on another forum. 

It has nothing to do with "hobby joggers", spats, headphones, other apps, or various other eyerolls.

He is one of the most gracious, kind, and helpful people I know.  He has helped me immeasurably over the past several years, and has been a great sounding board and shoulder to lean on. 

Sometimes life just gets in the way.  It's not always about you.

in all seriousness,  i imagine it's hard for any serious runner to want to participate on a super regular basis.  i know major efforts have been made to try to up the running content here and it's all been awesome,  but it's not the coolrunning of the past.  it's pretty firmly just a group of people who know each other and like to give kudos.

that said, I'm going to read Wilson's stickies again now that i have my super awesome treadmill.

ha, no!  we tried valiantly but in the end it stayed downstairs in the music room.  kind of ruins the room but has a great view and it's on temporary until we get the permanent room renovated for it.
