Hello, I don't post often anymore, and certainly not in the running forum, but I have been trying to get back into running after a couple years away.  Was doing to C25K up to about 5 or 7 minute running segments, then had to have a mole removed on my back (twice) and have had stitches on and off for 4 weeks.

I just ran again today in San Diego, was a perfect place to live, and I LOVE running here.  It was perfect.

Not sure what exactly the point of this all was, other than to make myself accountable.

Eco Ellen

where the hell have you been!!??
Also, what's this about San Diego?

Hey TK!  Are you doing the C25K again?  I am doing it now, but I'm changing it up a bit.  I'm using the Zenlabs app.

Hi TK!

I just started again after the broken toe.  And then twisted my ankle, so just started again, again.  I think I did 6/10 of a mile last night.  We did 4/10 a couple of days ago.  And 2/10 the first time back.  It was all my dog could handle either, so good enough.
Ellen stole my joy and I want it back!

I've been working like crazy and dealing with school.

Had an opportunity to buy a company so that was taking a ton of my time.

Thought about moving to Chicago for a new job, but that didn't pan out.

I'm in San Diego for work for the week, not for good.

Yes, doing the C25K, I'm just using an old spread sheet I had.  I gave up on trying to do it myself and move forward faster, it worked for me 10 years ago so I gave it another go.

Ouch.  A rough few weeks.  How did you brake the toe?

I was just looking for a good hotel in SD; I am going there in 2015. Any recommendation on reasonably priced place?  (Holiday Inn category)

Tripped over a floor fan on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.  Back in July.  The day before my vacation to Belgium and Netherlands (where I walked a ton anyway because I paid a lot of money to go there!)  It seemed like it stayed sore for a long time.   Twisted the ankle hiking on Veteran's Day.  It's still a little sore too, but if I wait until nothing hurts, I'll never do ANYTHING!

No.  I'm at the Sheraton Marina, and it is not worth the price.   To be honest, I would stay anywhere here.  Parking is so easy everyplace and you can just drive to the beach in no time.

I remember that now, well the toe bit.  Hope it feels better soon.

Hey, TK.
Good to "see" you around.

I started up again recently too, after a calf issue that seemed to last forever.  I wish I was running in San Diego and not New York   ;)

Thanks man.  Just ran again!  :runner:  Not sure I'll be as excited to run when I get back home to the cold and snow.

I ran for the first time since before my pregnancy (well, I might have run once or twice in March).  I did a modified version of Couch to 5k...tried to do abit more than the first week, but not too much (ran for 2 min instead of 1.)  I won't actually be able to run again until Monday, though, due to schedules and stuff.  It was fricking hard.
