Fourteen miles.  The first eight were hilly but faster because I was running with a friend; the last six were less hilly and I was alone and slowed down some.  It was 23 degrees and felt like 16.

I didn't have any trouble with it and did get to witness a beautiful deep red sunrise over the ocean but am still glad that's over!  Forty miles for the week.

11 mile loop on the Charles River.

Did my longer run today since it looks like it will be wet & sloppy out there tomorrow.

7 uninspired miles. Running with a cold still.

I think I recently mentioned to a friend or maybe posted somewhere that "I never get sick" - ugh

Usually Saturday is my rest day, but forecast is for snow turning into freezing rain this afternoon and all day cold rain on Sunday, so snuck in 15K before the foul weather.

Wet and sloppy here today - rest day, but 1 easy mile on the TM for a January run streak that one of my teams is doing. Nice and slow, just getting the body moving a little.
This space for rent.

3. 5 or so.  I'm liking the control and stats of the treadmill,  but hoping for an outdoor run tomorrow.

Ice Cream

8 miles. Snow for the tail end.

Hey, thanks for all the welcomes yesterday.

After a very uncomfortable night; the temperature didn't drop below 29c I managed a slow 3km along the creek.
I had planned to swim but it was just one of those days when it was too  hot to do anything.

Ran a 30.59 in the 200 meter dash at the B.U. All-comers meet.  I finished 2nd in my heat - a fast, young college lady caught me with 20 meters to go,  I was really hoping to run a sub-30, but this was still my fastest 200 in > 4 years (before my artificial hip).  It's early in the season, so it won't last, but I am now ranked 8th in the country in my age group.

Awesome!

I did the same 10K trail as yesterday.  Tomorrow I will maybe swim/garden ...I think I need a day off running 'cause my feet are quite sore!

3 mile recovery slog

I stayed slow and resisted the urge to speed up.

3.2 easy run at the marsh with Dewey this afternoon. Gorgeous day out there today.  saw about 30+ black crowned night heron hanging in the willows as we ran past.

I am really glad we went...I was feeling kind of lazy.

Welcome. New blood is always good. There are a lot of caring, experienced runners here.
