7 miles.

Perfect morning, 55 degrees and sunny.

8 fast ones...I don't know if it's the iron I've been on since January, the 12 pounds I dropped or the change in weather, but my runs are strong as hell!

Easy 5 for me. Last run before the marathon.

--------------------------------------

10k time trial. Finally finished one. The other attempts I cut short because of heat or cold or pain.

Sunny, but cool, some wind, perfect.

Didn't start out thinking about a 10k, just jogged from the house to the track.
Started doing laps and felt good, so kept it up.
Most of the first mile was done on a dirt trail with no warm up so it is a little slow.
Started with 9:05, then worked it down to 8:50, 8:40, final mile was about 8:30.
Finished in the 54:30s, longest run of the year, a new SB for 5 miles along the way.
My ankle did ache a little in the spot that was injured. I will keep an eye on it.
If I can hit 7 miles this weekend and add a mile each weekend,
I will be OK for a half marathon at the end of June.

Good miles, everybody.
