actually the tracker appears to still be on, so we can all watch him head down!  Maybe he decided to go all the way back and shoot for the yo-yo record?  ???

Well he's at the Katahdin stream campground it appears, so at least he didn't have too far to go.  I'm kind of curious to see how long he leaves this thing on for now...."looks like Scott's on I-90 headed back west.  Looks like Scott just stopped to take a dump." .....this could be fun!  In a creepy stalkerish kind of way of course.   :d

He did it, but only a record by a few hours.  it makes the CT woman's hiking record that he beat really stand out as an extraordinary accomplishment. She was supported only by her husband, whereas Jurek had a huge support crew.

Totally agree and as much as I love Jurek and was rooting for him, I also kinda wanted that kick ass woman hiker to keep the record :)
