5K race today -- My daughter, her husband and one of my granddaughters also ran; so we did another 3 generation family run.  My daughter was first in her age group, running really well in only her second race this year (17th overall).  Her husband (8th overall) and my granddaughter were second in their age groups.  I was first in my age group, so everyone walked away with a prize (Russian nesting doll).

3-mile warm up
4 x 1200 meters with 3-minute rests
Gatorade break
2-mile cool down

I had never done 1200-meter intervals before--that was tough. It was also hot and the sun was beating down, as I got a late start.
