What do you guys do the week before a marathon?  What kind of exercise/physical activity do you do?
Then, it's just the ol' squat, catch and pitch...--Makeda

Nope.  I'm not running.  I never run the week before a long race, marathon, 1/2, 10 miler, I don't care how long.  No running for me.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

Eat pretzels and fret.

This is what I'm doing:

M-4
T-easy row
W-4
T-easy bike
F-total rest
S-go!

I never like a rest day before any race. Just a 2 mile run, otherwise I tend to feel sluggish. This is apparent on my training runs after a rest day - it's always 2 days later that I run the best.

Update, yo!!

I LOVED it!  I ran terrible, it was god awful hilly, insanely over crowded but I loved it :D  Pittsburgh is a great city to run in.
