 I was captain of our 26 x 1 mile relay team again this year.  And again I could not run it, since I am only doing fast twitch speed work these days to prep for the mass senior games in a couple of weeks.  So while my teammates were doing hard 1 miles, I did 4 x 20 and  2 x 100 at close to race pace.

Waited until dusk so it wasn't so hot.
It was still hot.
2 mile time trial, shut it down after 5 laps.
Walked a lap, jogged another mile.
Ugh.
