Glass bottles. The one time I got a canned kombucha, it was actually 6%ABV. I dumped it after a couple sips (I didn't notice it was hard 'bucha initially)...the funk is not improved by the flavor of alcohol.
It's fermented and bubbly, so it's not simply steep a bag.

It's weird, but it fits the bill of "bubbly" and not-soda when I have a beer jonesing.

That's when I usually go to fake beer, like Busch NA, or Odoulski, but I know that you think they taste gross.

Yeah, I'm particular about what I want in a beer flavor. I'd rather go for a totally different taste than fake beer. But it's got the same ABV as fake beer.

I picked up a ginger and cayenne kombucha today (the supermarket had a huge display of some wild flavors this morning). Will report back on its zing! I would've tried it today, but between baseball, work, and running, then an early departure, I missed my "I want a drink" hour.
