Ice Cream

It doesn't really seem like a necessary item since they are super easy and quick to make in a pan but if you have the storage space why not.

I am personally not a fan of omelets with the filling cooked into it. I prefer it as a filling wrapped on the inside.

I think if you liked it, have storage room, etc-- you should get it! This is the kind of stuff that I personally avoid-- but I find it no big deal to cook an omelet. So, ymmv, for sure!

I did accidentally buy a breakfast sandwich grill at one point and T LOVES that thing.

The one  thing I will say, and you may find the same with this omelet maker, which is a similar style, is that it is hard to clean. Anything that sloshes over the side, etc, just is tough to get 100% clean every time.

There are a number of reviews that say it is only nonstick for a few months of use though.

I had a waffle iron that lost its non-stick abilities and one day it ended up in the trash with waffle all over it because I was so pissed off.

That looks more like a frittata maker than an omelet maker. Like MM, I like my omelet ingredients in the center, with the eggs on top. I think you could get the same effect from a small cast iron pan (or 2) in the oven and would be a pan you could use for other things. YMMV, but I'm also not a fan of teflon/non-stick coatings. People are generally really bad about not over heating them. You can get the same result from a good, well-seasoned cast iron pan without the nastiness of teflon.

Yes, the clen up makes me hesitant.  I think I will pass on it.

I prefer Anolon Advanced 8"  for an omelet pan. Like this one, https://www.amazon.com/Anolon-Advanced-Anodized-Nonstick-8-5-Inch/dp/B000069RBS/ref=asc_df_B000069RBS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167135614232&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=839006084692296057&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9004551&hvtargid=pla-274768607658&psc=1

but I usually buy whatever one TJ's has in their kitchen section. BB&B often has a set of two but I don't need to big one replaced as often.
I ONLY use it for eggs of any kind until it loses it's nonstickiness, then I relegate it to a regular saute pan and get a new one.
