I only walked twice👌

Terrible swim.  I am not an ocean swimmer
Set me up for nausea for the first 40 miles of bike.
Little mind blip in the energy lab where I decided to walk.
Then had to shorten stride to prevent cramps.   11:21 with a 3:47marathon.  Fifth place.
I even beat the amazing Fernanda Keller.  Woot!

Neither did I.    I actually wrote a message on Facebook saying that I was not doing it.  Decided to post to myself only.  Met a mother the day before check in of a challenged athlete and the determination of her son and all his issues made me change my mind.   I got to see him cranking up the hill to Hawi.  He only has use of his chest and above so he isn't even in a Regular crank cycle but lying flat.   If that doesn't make a person question their excuses to not start, I don't know what does.

BIG CONGRATS Snarly.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
