Western States 100!

I should've known better than to book a cross country flight on western states day, or I would be more on top of things. 

Irunfar twitter is on the ball as usual.  Guess Who is leading the men's race at mile 38, 6 minutes under course record pace, 6 minutes ahead of Hayden Hawks.  The race is not a foregone conclusion by any means, with Hawks and couple other studs from the Hoka crew up in there, not to mention that like, it's 100 fucking miles and a lot of shit can go wrong.  But so far so good!

Beth Pascall (4th in 2019) leading the women at Robinson Flat, 3 minutes off course record pace, with a whole host of ladies right behind her including defending champ Clare Gallagher and a bunch of other people I've never heard of.  GOGOGO!!!

Beth now 9 minutes under record pace at mile 38.  That was a brisk section!

Walmsley now 26 minutes up on Hayden at halfway, 8 minutes under record pace.  His to lose!
