No run for me on Friday due to...reasons.  Back at it this morning after a sunny weekend and temps in the 50s.  So of course, since it's Monday, it was 29F with a feels like of 19F.  Lovely.  2.25 miles for me today, ever so slowly increasing my mileage.

Really want to get up to 5 mile runs within the next few months.  It's been YEARS since I've done this so we'll see how it goes.

4 miles for me today mainly in zones 2 and 3. Yesterday I did an EGym workout that had shifted for the next 6 sessions to increased weight on the recovery movement rather than on the work movement of each rep. The impact of that change on the leg work machines part of the circuit damn near did me in and I felt it through today's run. It'll be interesting to see how this goes as I work through the next five weight sessions over the coming couple of weeks.

4k evening trail run, zone 1 recovery.

Saw a couple of owls, that's always cool.

Never been one to string together a bunch of consecutive days... but today was 7 in a row. I'll run tomorrow before taking one or two days off later this week as the weather is supposed to get rainy.

24*C tonight.

Fast Eddie

Sunny with temps a few ticks under the freezing mark. 16K
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

A bit over 7 miles and some strides. My legs are not feeling snappy, hoping they'll be better for some tempo work tomorrow.

On the positive: it was light for half of my run and the clocks go forward next week so soon it'll be full daytime running for me!

In 2 1/2 weeks I hope to be able to say the same (or better) about my target race... "it was light for half of my run."

The race is on spring equinox weekend, and my goal time is 24 hours. If it's light for half (or more) of my run then I will have met my goal!
