3 mile warm up, then to the track for: 1200 in 3:49 w/ 3 min rest, 3x1000 average of 3:26 w/200 jog, and 1200 in 3:45, then a 2 mile cool down. Total of just over 9 miles.

Nice sharpening workout for a 3 mile race on the 4th of July. Met a guy at the track training for the Marines 3 mile run and chatted him up.

6.5K worth of walk commute to and from work. 7.5K run after work. 
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
