Hit my final goal on Saturday!  Still not done, but I'm at my "I'm okay at this weight for life" point.

WOO HOO!!!   Yay!  That is so terrific!  :rah:

I'm feeling very impatient about wanting to get to my goal weight, but at least I'm back down to where I was before Tacos Sunday night.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

I am back on track this week....my WW week starts on Friday and that was the last time I had a drink, and used 14 of my WPA. Since then I have stayed between 26 and 29. WW lowered everyone who had 29 to 26 in January but said you didn't HAVE to do the 29. Since I wasn't able to even not use up all my weeklies I decided to stay at 29. I have only lost 5 pounds since January. Time to get back to losing!!

I am proud though that even though I haven't been losing at the same rate I was I have stuck with the changes I've made. In the end, I know what I have to do and that is stop drinking except for the rare occasion.
What cake and candy is to some of you, drinking is to me. ETA not that I drink to excess, when I drink I can't stop eating!

WI tomorrow, don't even know what my goal weight is and it's so far away I am not worried about it. When I get closer I will know.

Thanks everyone!

Now comes the challenge if maintaining.

Last night I had a dream that I had purchased a $19 worth of thick sliced, juicy roast beef.   I thought I had asked for a quarter of a pound, but I ended up with this enormous bag.  And I was delighted as I ate a piece.     And that my friends is what marathon training means to me.   Craving meat.

$19 worth of beef is very specific.  :D  I love how dreams are like that.

I had a dream where it was the zombie apocalypse and we were looting houses and all I did in each one was eat all the cookies and goldfish crackers.  Everyone had cookies! That was such a good dream  :-[

anxiously awaiting!
i may consider one.

I do walk a lot at work, i barely sat down once yesterday which made my poor feet swell up like balloons. i ate a ton of peanut butter filled pretzels yesterday, but it is race recovery, right? i have that wicked sore throat again that makes me not want to eat. i guess that is good. will see how hungry i get today. i think i am pretty recovered from my race food wise. depends on what the Panera box looks like today :D

I have it on.. right clipped to my bra... they say attached as close to the torso is best and the bra is so convenient!  I dn't know it is even there.. I wore it to sleep last night but it only recorded 3 hours.. I have to figure out what I might have done.. It says I woke up once in that time.

It records sleep calories as well. When I checked this morning before my trainer workout, I had already burned a lot of calories ( I did 20 min of elliptical) I will check it at lunch when I change my clothes to walk and report back!   My flower is growing though!  I dont think their traget audience is really someone who is as active as me... it's probably more getting inactive people to be cognizant... but I am liking it so far.  And, I am logging into My fitness pal with my food, so I will sync it tonight at home and it should tell me my deficit.
By the way, My fitness  pal had my calories so low!  1200!  I know I need more than that. I adjusted to 1400 and I figure I will get extra from the fitbit syncing.

I stepped on the scale this morning. I want to be exactly 20 pounds smaller by the wedding.

Courtney

I didn't know the fitbit synced with myfitnesspal!  I can't wait to hear what you think as you use it.

I've heard that it won't record workouts well, especially things like biking/spinning...  do you know?   Would it record runs?

5 pounds a month, you can do it!

I just finished lunch and my full sensor hasn't kicked in yet.   :(

Jamers - congrats on hitting that goal!
hally - glad to hear it all seems to be going well for you.
onawhim -  :D you'd survive a zombie apocalypse, you'll need those calories!
caito - dreaming of meat sounds like a nice one to have too.
Mini - DFW.

It must have been the night for crazy dreams.  I had that one where some evil being/force paralyzes me and usually I can't move and will wake up in a horrible panic.  Last night was the first time I was able to tell this 'being' to Fuck Off! and it actually worked!  That is a huge thing for me.

I love them more than life, but the kids are driving me nuts today!   :argh:  On the plus side the scale this morning is back down to where I can stay comfortable....the 5 mile runs seem to be doing the trick.  Plus I've eased up on the snacking, only because there is none in the house.

Right...making some hard-boiled eggs to dye later.  They'll be good for snacking.

So far I am loving it!  We walked at lunch and did 2.3 miles.. between that and my trainer this morning I'm at 12,000 plus steps and I still have track tonight.  It registers the hills as stairs and we have a hilly route so I have 20 flights of stairs.  I am not sure how totally accurate it is, but if your goal is to move more, it will definitely give you a good idea if you are doing that from day to day.

You are supposed to attach it as close to your torso as possible, but I have read that for accurcy on biking you should took if into your bike shorts on the bottom on the side of your leg. I ordered the tether for 1.50 because I heard a lot of stories of people having it fall out of their pockets.  That hasn't come yet because it was not amazon prime eligible.

I was in the buiding that houses the school of public health this monring and saw this sign by the elevator: "Take the stairs. It is healthier" with an arrow presumably pointed toward the stairwell. I thought it was cute.

The fitbit is awesome!  So far I am totally in love!  Today was a big day for me because I had training in the morning for an hour and we do some sprints on that, plus I did the elliptical for 20 ish minutes before it.  We walked 2.35 miles at lunch time and I had track work out tonight

My steps for the day were 22,000!  22 floors climbed (it measures hills as floors and our lunch time waking route is hilly)  2841 calories burned and supposedly 13 miles walked..

I could eat a whole days more worth of calories if I wanted. but I won't.

I think it might be estimating calorie burn high, but regardles.. seeing in writing my steps is a huge motivation to move!

Bolloxd

Sounds like a fun gadget MoS.

So, I made a pavlova today for DH's b-day (as a test run since I've never made one) and it is so freaking tasty.  How have I never had one before?!  It is so light & fluffy and is my new fav dessert.  It's only egg whites, sugar, vanilla, and then some whipped cream with a bunch of strawberries....that is healthy, right? :)

I did pretty good for dinner - healthy pasta with homemade sauce & fresh basil.
